When I Love You (Feat. Owl Eyes) - Fred came to the studio, dusted off a Roland SP-808 digital recorder, and dug through a sneaker box of old Zip cartridges—pure nostalgia. As we loaded one up, we stumbled upon a four-bar loop and instantly fell in love. A forgotten gem from 2008, created with a Fender Rhodes, Music Man bass, and drums, still carrying that undeniable magic. Then came Owl Eyes—her ethereal vocals, known from her work with Flight Facilities, effortlessly captured that hypnotic, otherworldly vibe.  Her musicality and sense of melody melted into the track, transforming it into something timeless—like rediscovering a lost moment and giving it new life. To modernize and expand the sound, we gave it the full Ampersounds synthesizer treatment—layering in Prophet-5 and Mini Moog to elevate the energy. The result? A track that bridges past and present, nostalgic yet fresh.
